Highlights of this project: Built within an attractive village of character and history this contemporary barn style home acknowledges the agricultural heritage of the location. The home owners dreamed of an eco-friendly lifestyle with our SIPs structure ensuring the envelope achieved the highest standards of energy efficiency. Externally the home is finished with local stone and timber cladding with a zinc roof covering. The design maximised open living space and natural light to promote a sense of openness with a combination: single and double height areas, a wide spiral staircase and habitable vaulted roof space.
